WEATHER & PRACTICE During poor weather, summer or winter, we will always have practice if the pool/facility is open. If we do cancel a workout it will be posted and mailed to the yahoo group immediately. If time permits we will also start calling families. Please always use your best judgment and be safe. Everyone has a different level of comfort with hazardous weather and you need to do what you feel comfortable with. Mary T's number is 897-9949 and Lakeside Club is 454-4585.

Great World Championships! Rachel set new American Records in the 50 and 100 Fly, as well as the 400 Free and 800 Free Relays and a new World Record in the 400 Medley Relay!

Clark Burckle has an outstanding NCAA Championships with two 4th placefinishes in the 400 IM and 200 Breast.
Caroline Burckle sets new NCAA Record and wins 500 Free at NCAA Championships in 4:33.60. Another win for Caroline in the 200 Free!

AWESOME! Lakeside had it's highest point total ever in the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program, we finished 9th overall and were awarded Gold Medal Club status again for 2007.

CONGRATS 8-UNDER STATE CHAMPIONS! Great job by all the 8-under Seahawks in winning the Kentucky 8-Under Championships. The 8-under Boys (Clayton A, Keefer B, Nick Z, Lee B) won both the 200 Free & Medley Relay, Keefer Barnum won the 7-8 Boys 50 Breast, Lexi Hernandez won the 6-under Girls 25 Fly & 25 Free, was second in the 50 Free & 25 Back and third in the 25 Breast. Alex Bragg took third in the 6-under Boys 25 Breast and Alivia Sinnott was third in the 6-under Girls 25 Free. Congrats to all the swimmers and thanks for a great season!
