Mike DeBoor, Head Coach

Mike is in his twentieth year at Lakeside, fourteenth as Head Coach. Mike has been named the Kentucky Swimming Senior Coach of the Year ten times and twice named the ASCA Age Group Coach of the Year. He has placed swimmers on thirteen different USA National Teams and coached swimmers attending the Olympics, National Junior Team, Pan American Championships, Pan Pacific Championships, European Championships, South American Championships, Short Course World Championships and Long Course World Championships. Mike has been selected to coach the Head Coach of 2007 National Junior Team, 2006 Pan Pacific Team, Head Coach of the 2006 SC World Championship Team, 2005 National Junior Team, the 2005 Regional Distance Camp, the 2002 and 2004 FINA USA World Cup Team, the 1995 USA Olympic Development Camp, the 1995 USA Girls Select Camp and as Head Coach of the 2003 USA Boys Select Camp. He is currently on the Board of Kentucky Swimming and has served as the Head Coach on four Kentucky All-Star Teams and coached three Kentucky Zone Teams.

Todd Larkin, Head Age Group Coach

This is Todd's eighth year with the SeaHawks. Prior to joining the SeaHawks, he was Head Coach of the Shelbyville Sharks Swim Team from 1993-1999. During his time he also served as Aquatic Director for Shelbyville Parks and Recreation. A Louisville native, Todd was Head Coach of the Downtown YMCA from 1991-1993, and an Assistant Coach at Blairwood Swim Club in 1990-1991. In 2005 and 1996 Todd was named ASCA Kentucky Age Group Coach of the Year, and has served as an Assistant Coach for the Kentucky Zone Team. Nonie Paulson, Office Manager - Developmental Coach

This is Nonie's fourteenth year coaching with the SeaHawks. Before coming to the SeaHawks, she was Aquatic Director at the Southeast YMCA and Head Swim Coach for the Southeast Swordfish Swim Team here in Louisville. Nonie was a member of the University of Louisville Swim Team from 1982-1984. In the summer of 1994 she was Head Coach of the Kentucky Zone Team and Assistant Kentucky Zone Team Coach for 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998.paulson@lakesideseahawks.org

Krista Albrecht, Assistant Coach

Krista is originally from Southern California and has recently moved to Louisville from Lexington, KY. She has coached with the Mission Viejo Nadadores for about ten years. Her coaching experience includes being in charge of summer satellite teams as well as with the year round programs. Krista graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology from University of Kentucky and hopes to eventually return to scholl to further her education in elementary development.

Manuel Nieto, Senior Assistant

Manuel has been coaching with Lakeside for the last 5 years and comes from Ecuador. In addition to coaching Manual still swims competitively and coaches the master’s team. He is a five time US Masters All-American and in the year 2000 he was named a Masters All-Star (for rank first place on the top 10 in 2 events or more). Manuel currently holds ten Kentucky Masters State Records and is attending Jefferson Community College with a major in Business Administration and Marketing.
