Meet Sign-up Process and Meet Entry Deadlines

 

            Our meet entry process is all done on the computer through the internet.  You can either go directly to www.directathletics.com or via our website (www.lakesideseahawks.org”) under links and then click on the “Meet Entry Website”.   All of the meets are available for sign up now!  So go for it and get it doneJ.  Please contact Krista at the office 451-4333 or email Krista@lakesideseahawks.org  with any questions or comments.  Please familiarize yourself with our website.  It is our main basis of communication.

 

  1. If you have not used the system before, you need to contact Krista for your username/password.  If you have used it before and have forgotten your password or username email Krista or click on “forgot password” (on the direct athletics website) and it will be sent to you via email. 
  2. Go to the direct athletics website, login in the upper left hand corner.  The first time you log on your username and password will be the same. 
  3. Once you have logged in it will prompt you to change your password, type it in twice and then enter your email address.  (That way if you forget your password it can be sent to your email.)
  4. Click on “submit” after doing so. 
  5. Then it will say that your password is being processed, click on “continue”.
  6. Meets will pop up, click “here” to the right of the one that you are interested in attending. (If at anytime you realize you may not be able to attend a meet you may do so BEFORE the deadline stated.  Please email Krista as well with any changes on your swimmers status. If your swimmer cannot attend all days of the meet, email Krista with the days that he/she can attend.)
  7. An email will be sent to the email address you typed in confirming that you have signed up correctly. (If you want to make sure it was done correctly you can always email Krista.)
  8. Soon after the deadline has passed, we will post the entries on our website via Team Manager.  It is very important that you check TM as soon as possible to eliminate any human/computer error.  If there is a problem, email Krista.

To get to Team Manager go to our website…

a. Click on “Team Manager”.

b. Click on “Lakeside”

c. Click on “Entries”

d. Click on “Meet” and search for swimmer. (Sometimes it will automatically select “male” so just make sure the gender is correct.)

Results can be found on Team Manager as well.

 

 

 

 

Every meet has a deadline for entry and exit entries.  PLEASE sign up on time so that we can get the entries out correctly and promptly!  Just keep in mind the sooner sign up for the meet the better. Please do not wait until the day of the meet to check if your swimmer is entered!  Once we have sent the meet entries, all expenses will have been calculated. Therefore, if you notify us after the deadline date you may be billed accordingly.  Double check Team Manager on our website to make sure your swimmer is entered.  The coaches assign the events for the meets.

June 12-14 Ohio Valley Champs (OVC) – May 19

June 26-29 FAST Summer Jam – May 20

July 10-12 Seahawk Invitational – June 16

July 10-13 Sectionals – TBA

July 18-20 State B/8 and Under Champs – June 23

July 24-27 State A Champs – July 7

August 4-8 Juniors – TBA
